Trainingdelivered to  club members

The Overland 4WD Club is a member of Four Wheel Drive SA. Four Wheel Drive SA is the peak body for four wheel driving in South Australia and it is affiliated with the National 4WD Association of Australia.

Club members can participate in training of four wheel drive recovery and driving techniques. Each member decides what level they are comfortable with and how extensive the training they receive will be.

Whilst training is not mandatory we do find that most members are keen to undertake at least some basic training and many take up the excellent certificate based training on offer.

Of course you’ll also be able to source advice on all sorts of vehicles, accessories, camping equipment and gain a fantastic insight on places to visit and journeys to undertake.

Club Training (for Members only)

The Club conducts regular training activities for club members, both theoretical and practical.

Theory assessment is usually conducted at the ‘Association’ rooms at Unley. Practical training and assessments are conducted in the field at venues such as Peake, Morgan and the Flinders Ranges. Check out the Trips page to see what’s on the schedule.
