Argadells – 18-19 April 2020
The Argadells is a working sheep station with tourist facilities and some excellent “Adventure/Technical Driving” It is situated 28 kilometres north of Quorn on the Arden Vale Road.
Meet: Cockroach Campground
Cost: Cockroach campground fees are $10 per person per night and track fees are $50 per vehicle. Ralph will collect fees on arrival.
Accommodation: We will be staying at the Cockroach camp ground where it is suitable for swags, tents and camper trailers. Large caravans can stay in the station caravan park. If you plan to use a caravan, sites have to be individually booked on the Argadells website. Caravan park fees to be paid directly to the station.
There is a long drop toilets at Cockroach and showers are available in the caravan park.
Restrictions/Limitations: No pets or firearms. You have to be self-sufficient and bring some firewood. (As well as some marshmallows.)
Notes: You can arrive earlier and leave later if you desire. Extensions will not be considered as part of the Club trip and will not be covered by Club insurances.
